The Answer Model
Todd Ritchey and John Montgomery have created a new model to better understand all human behavior. Todd Ritchey is an addiction specialist, interventionist, life coach, consultant and counselor. He has had a successful and innovative career and developed a new model of intervention that he has used with great success. John Montgomery his partner, has his PhD in neuroscience from Caltech University and also has a BA in molecular genetics from Trinity College in Dublin. Together they have developed a unifying theory of human behavior. They have also developed a therapeutic model that applies this theory towards practical scenarios and relationships. Todd will be speaking about the this model and briefly talking about its applications in this upcoming salon. The focus of the presentation will be geared towards how this Model is applied to help our relationships. Be prepared to participate in a couple simple exercises that can be very insightful and interesting at the same time. This will be a relatively informal presentation so please feel free to jump in with your questions so that we can have a fascinating dialogue. Before you leave, you will have a deeper understanding of your behavior and the dynamics in your relationships. This will provide you with the template for the building deeper and richer relationships in every phase and aspect of your life.

"Inspiration"
Judith will discuss and explore the creative impetus behind her various bodies of work as a Visual Artist for this Salon evening. She is compelled to explore depth and meaning through her imagery, either in large installations or individual works, and she hopes thorough these works to inspire viewers to connect and find meaning and she will show the results of these investigations in her work over the years.
Judith M. Atkinson is a Professional Artist with an extensive exhibition record, and studio practice. She is an Honours graduate of Emily Carr University of Art & Design, and studied at the Banff School of Fine Arts, Capilano College and with ECUAD in Florence, Italy. Judith is a Fine Art Instructor with Langara College, The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, Evergreen Cultural Centre and all School Districts.

Joy Silver, a retired elementary school teacher and a trainer of the Spirit Play, will explore what spirituality means to you. She will show us how the Spirit Play Methodology of telling stories can be used to model universal values and respect our interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part. The stories can inform and inspire all children of all faiths to act in the world with compassion, to recognize what we have in common; and to understand our differences.

Alcvin Ryuzen Ramos is a professional shakuhachi teacher and performer. Alcvin received his Dai Shihan (grand master) license, taking the new name, "Ryuzen" (Dragon Meditation) making him the first Canadian and one of only a handful of non-Japanese to receive this esteemed honor. Alcvin is also a shakuhachi flute craftsman. Don’t miss this chance to see the fascinating world of the shakuhachi bamboo flute!!
